Low speed front end noise

I looked for a post on this and could not find one, sorry if I missed it.

Here it goes. I have a 2006 HHR 2LT auto fully loaded with 29k miles. It has developed a low speed rattle from what seams to be under the dash/front end. If driving 25 mph or less over roads with cracks or uneven surfaces it will rattle. At higher speeds nothing. I had it in the dealership 4 times now, and they can hear it, but there answer, based upon driving other HHR same year is that they also make the same noise. I tried to explain to them that it did not make the noise when new and suggested they drive a new HHR. There answer was the 08 is not the same as the 06, and did not have on 07 on the lot to drive. They suggested I try another dealership, since there teck doesn't think he can fix it. Also called customer service, with not much help.

Has anyone experienced this problem?

Thanks for your help

More info, It sounds like it coming from the steering shaft. I've had the column/shaft changed under the TSP, but the clunk/rattle is still there.

is this normal?

Read of problems like this on the site someplace. The column being one prob but you got that replace. Seems like the intermediate shaft was a issue also. Know I read about it here but the search feature didn't find it for me.

Thanks, while driving around today, it seems that it might be a steering column rattle/clunk.
