well I also forgot to add it came from the factory with a alignment issue so i already had to buy all new tires. after the rear blow out and 2/32 tread. not a warretee covered item that cost 700 bucks

Did your brakes make the horrendous noise only when you hit them hard? I have a 2010 that stops fine but makes a terrible noise up front on emergency stops.

 

I never understand why people go through this. Maybe I am impatient, but if I had that much trouble out of it that soon, I would have traded it in..after the second trip MAX. You waited about 6500 more miles than I would have.

 

I brought my 2011 in for the same reason, noise under hard braking. They checked it out and everything was fine. My 2008 Saturn did the same thing. I did a few hard stops to see if the pads were glazed and that seemed to do the trick. I don't hear the noise anymore.

Mine has been good...it was one of the first 2011's made...I think you might have just gotten a bad build? Good luck with it. Don't give up if your dealer gives you crap. Contact Chevy directly if you have to.
