The hatch struts were replaced today and the noisy sunroof was looked at. It seems that the tracks of the sunroof has small glass fragments in them that is causing the sunroof to operate poorly and make a horrible screeching noise. Instead of trying to fix it, they are ordering an entire new sunroof package. They tried to look up the history to see if there was any history of the car's sunroof being broken in transit or at the dealership that the car came from originally, but found nothing, so they are thinking that there was a mishap with it on the assembly line. Anyway, I am very happy that they are replacing the entire unit instead of trying to fix it. The glass had already scratched up the tracks pretty bad.
