My 75000 Mile Service Report
If they removed the wheels it might just be some rust and corrosion on the wheel and rotor so the wheels aren't on straight causing a slight wobble. Make sure they clean them when they balance the tires. If what you're feeling is more of a hopping over bumps, it might well be the struts. 75,000 miles is a lot of bumps unless you drive on smooth roads.
Count me in on the franchise also!!! I need anew career field.....For an extra $10 i'll add a fragrance too!!.. OOOOOO....and with some food dye I'll offer exciting new colors too!!
Just MHO, but both struts AND shocks need to be replaced at 50K. If you like to do mechanical work (I do & save a TON of $$
) there are a lot of things that you can do to keep from having "strange maladys" all of the sudden. There are three cars in my family, and alignment and tire balancing are about the only things I won't do. FWTW, if you think a Chevy is hard to work on, you should try a Lexus (my wife's Japanese POS) sometime!
