Makes me wonder what else about the car you don't know about...... For that much "body" work (term used very loosly here) for the door, what about the rest of it?

I'm wondering how the guy at the dealer knew exactly where it was hit?????

I mean, I used to be a body man and we could make guesses.... But to come right out and say "It was hit in the rear QT panel" seems fishy to me.....

ok heres the link to the photos i tried uploading them here but im just not that pc friendly i talked to my attorney and he is contacting all three dmvs and requesting vehicle registration reports and title searches http://www.flickr.com/photos/30966208@N06/

How many miles were on it when you bought it? Typically they use rentals for longer than 6 months, so that's a red flag to me... If it has much less than 30k that would also be a red flag. If it has low miles, and wasn't in service long it would sound like it was taken out of service from an accident...

i do want to say thank you i have gotten alot of good advice i wasnt sure what i could do but i know have pictures spoke with my attorney and gotten the ball rolling im really wanting to see the title searches in the morning

WRONG DATE on pictures! Better correct that if you were planning on using them as evidence. Good luck. Keep us posted.

the picture at http://www.flickr.com/photos/30966208@N06/5425414047/ looks like body damage (scuff marks) to the plastic shield and the rear edge of the bottom of the door, as well as the rear of the rocker panel. If so, was that recent, or am I seeing things?
