There is no where else to take it.

They come with warranties for a reason.
Tried that, it seems I have no power to the ignition for it to even try to start. Only things with power I have is headlights, parking lights (no turn signals), horn and rear hatch release. No dash lights, dome lights or power locks nothing else. Haven't found any help from garages around me. Chevy dealer 30 miles away is the only choice I have unless I can find it.

#8 and #10 are the 2 fuses that control the Passkey3 security system, which is the system that seems to be activated/inactivated. I think you said the security lock & key icon was lit?
When you removed the trim around the steering wheel you may have upset some wires. BTW, look in your Owner Manual a see where the handy little door to the key unlock button is.

I was thinking maybe the Passkey security system. The icon was lit before everything went dead. I removed the trim after that. How do you correct and inactive security system?

Your Owner Manual says to put the key in and turn it to reset the security. 2 things set the icon; dead battery and wrong key.
