I have read where others in other forum sits have the same problem I have with the dash board lights all going out randomly. The radio will be playing but all the light on it are out as well as the light on the airbag notification and the entire area of where the odometer is goes dark. Then all of a sudden it comes back on.

Wonder if this is connected to the ignition problem?

Why would GM recall 1 car? Do you know what "recall" means?

You have a fairly well known wiring harness problem.

If the OP wants to make an issue out of it, they have the option of talking to GM directly.
