It could be a defective alternator, and or battery, sometimes they don’t have a full charge when new.
What brand battery did you purchase?
What brand alternator did you purchase?
Let’s go from there

Check that voltage is present at both ends of the positive cable. If not, got a bad connection.
Check that the sensor is in place and plugged in.

Ok so I just went out again. Checked the plug in connector. It's good. Checked with my multimeter on the fuse box. That's good. Then I placed the red to the power bolt of alternator and grounded it to hood latch and tried bolts to struts. With car running. It's only putting out 0.20 volts from alternator. No corrosion on battery. Checked fuse by battery. That's good, Good connections.

Remove the alternator and take it to parts palace, have them bench test it.
running it should put out 14.4 to 15.3 volts.

Hey guys thanks for all this feed back. There is a fuse hooked to the negative wire in the back. But there is what seems to be a sensor plug in as well. I unplugged it and plugged it back in. Not sure how you would test that. No corrosion. Also is that a good way of testing alternator? By using 20 volt setting on multimeter and placing the red directly onto the positive bolt of alternator and ground it to somthing? Sorry for the Grammer.

Did you look at the picture I posted ? That would explain that it's a voltage sensor and not a "fuse" as you stated.
Did you read Oldblue's post that you should take the alternator off and get it bench tested ?
He even asked you what brand battery and alternator you bought. You didn't answer him.

Seems we're giving advice but you aren't paying attention.

There is also a fuse. That's all I was saying. And yea I will get it tested or just replace it. I'm trying to test it without taking the alternator off again. As it is freezing cold out and snowy. I do not have a garage so. If I can trouble shoot it other ways. That's what I'm going for. I am taking your advice as well. But you didn't answer my question. You'd rather be kinda rude about it.

In back by the battery there’s the main fuse or master fuse, remove it clean the pins and test continuity and reinstall it. It’s back there clipped near the ground cable , it’s circled in yellow in this Internet picture

Why that’s the 50 or 60 amp master fuse

we are just trying to help you, can’t without information, now can we?

I pulled that out. Looks clean. How do you test continuity?
