I always figure a 100,000 mile waranty in the price of the car and over the yrs I am way way a head of the game .

And from all the clunks rattles and computers on these new cars I bet I win the bet again this time . Someone asked the other day about the deductibles mine is ZERO nada 0 .

Glad you found the rattle would a drove me nuts !

I think I have the rattles under control for the time being.
Now I'm working on the wind noise issues.
Really quirky how both HHR's have the same problems. They were 3 months apart in production dates.

The other issue to be concerned about with Extended Warranties is the stability of the Insurance co. you bought from.
Especially if there is No Deductable.
That could be the "come on" to push for sales.
Every one I have looked at has a $100 deductable per visit.
I went to the 2 best Dealers around that have both been in business for a long time and asked the Service Manager what policy he would buy.
I got a different answer from each one.
There could be different offerings in different parts of the country too.
Make sure you are covered for electronics ie. modules, computers, etc.
Those can be big ticket items and missing from some policies.
Some of these guys can go belly up by the time you run less then the 100,000 miles.
I have seen it twice now and unless the dealer you bought from is still in business and co-operative to try to help you .. your S.O.L.
