new to web site/dead battery

I think I got this web address off of you-tube....looks like i wasn't misled....right now I need to charge my battery.....do i hook up in front access or rear location?

If you can open your hatch, the safest way to charge the battery would be to disconnect the battery cables(negative cable first always), and the connect your charger directly to the battery.

Your battery died for a reason, so once it's charged up, take your HHR to your local auto parts store to have the battery load tested.

Check this, under the hood is a red cap(+) open the cap and make sure that the nut is tight. If it is not it well cause all kinds of electrical issues. It is the main distribution point from the battery under the hood. This can cause a charging problem. It does back off.
