no crank , fuel primes

no crank , fuel primes
I am stumped at the moment. The car sat for a couple of weeks -2006 lt 2.4 5 speed.- 645,000 km
I am getting the no crank and I assumed at first it was the passkey issue but the security light goes out if you put the key in and turn to the on position after a couple of seconds. I did find my spare key and it does the exact same thing.
If I go to start the car - put key in , clutch in turn to start - on start the message display blanks out I hear the fuel pump and I can hear a relay click by the body control module- If I pull the relay thats there I still feel a click that must be inside the module on turning the key.
I checked the start/crank fuses/relay - on key on I have 12 volts on the signal to the relay on but no change on the light when turning to start.
I have swapped position on the relays that are the same with no change. I possibly suspect the clutch switch (but cant get my hands in to pull the cable off to by pass I did a motor swap 3 years ago and have most of the spares still but I think the starter is good. ( when inserting the start crank relay with the ignition on the pulse triggers the starter solenoid but does not try to spin - Maybe no power to the starter main power?
Edit---
Also I forgot to put in I dont have power steering at the moment and cant remember if the wheel was powered before the engine was started when the key is in the engine on position.-----------
------Also no codes other than the persisten p0010 telling me to swap the cam actuator--- I have a spare just have not bothered.
Any help would be good as I dont want to scrap this thing just yet.
Thanks
Dale

You seem to be having the same problem as this thread:

I don't know why people always want to blame PasskeyIII for problems, it is basically passive the only time it would come into play is replacing computers or keys or cutting wires.

Out of curiosity, what did you do to cause Passkey to lock you out?
Usually that is the safety interlock solenoids not Passkey, it turns the fuel system off. i.e.: crank/no start.
Did you look at the link I provided? It has schematics in it that I didn't feel like reposting.
This guy explains what Passkey III actually is.

It may not have been pass key before- not sure but it would not start but switch to backup key started and switched back to original key and it worked. That happened a couple of times over 10 years. I have looked at the link- hopefully will get a chance to relook at the car this weekend. If I can get it on the hoist I can verify the clutch switch.

Passkey iii+ works differently from the previous passkey and VATS systems. Since about 2004 I think.
There is a hood ajar/closed switch on the hood latch on cars with Remote Start that prevents starting.
I think the clutch switch is under the dash on the pedal.
