No Interior components working after changing out battery
So, I have somewhat of an issue like I have seen from others who have also posted. I recently changed my battery, and after changing, it seems like a security triggered because my outside lights, front and back came on along with rear wiper, but my interior lights and components were not working. My dome light, door locks, dashboard, obd2 scanner port, a/c controls and radio. Only light I see on is hazard light button. Even tried ignition, but it only locked key in, having to manually release to get it out. I have gone through with checking fuses but all have checked out good. Using a multimeter. Only one I have seen that has numbers jumping is a starter relay from the engine bay fuse box, slot 34. I’ve swapped out slot#29 from engine bay fuse box to try seeing if that would get obd2 scanner port to work but feels like it’s beyond that. Any thoughts on this, or helpful info is appreciated. Thanks.
You’ve gone thru the fuses and relays , did you tighten the 4 , 7mm bolts in the fuse box?
when you disconnected the old battery did the positive cable touch the body or the negative terminal?
The new battery did, what is it’s static voltage? Over 12.5 volts? We have seen new batteries be dead batteries over the years.
