No Voltage at Starter

The fusible link to the generator is not part of the starting system.

If memory serves, the 50 amp maxifuse near the battery is not part of it either.

The 50 A maxifuse serves the BCM.

OK, so maybe it is, but if it were bad, you'd see most other systems not working also, right?

The only thing I haven't disclosed is that my son was reading the multi-meter display while I checked the voltage. This introduces another possibility, of course, but he is pretty reliable.

I will check voltages at other points when I get down there with the new starter. If the positive connection from battery to starter is cables with direct connections on posts at fuse box, it should be easy enough to troubleshoot. Will I need to remove fuse box to check or is connection at positive jump start terminal?

The battery to fuse box and the fuse box to starter is the terminal at the fuse nor with the red cover.
