Noise from speaker

I would take the door panel off and look for a wire touching something it shouldn't.

I have any update as I paid attention without radio on and I do have chimes when blinker is on, door open with keys in. Not sure why I said I was unsure because I have heard them. Still confused about the random pop/static sound as well as the shock from door at random times this summer.

Huh. Good idea. That's actually very plausible. The failure mode of those crappy base speaker is the voice coil shorts to ground. My car that had these identical symptoms got new speakers not long before I sold it. I don't remember the shocks and pops after that, but it's been awhile.

Now I think all 4 door speakers should be replaced.
