Yes to all. But as you can see we also lost the keys and remotes and had them reprogrammed I am curious to know if because of those new units and I had the battery disconnected for over a day that may have caused an issue with the alarm and the remotes. The remote will not engage the alarm like I said above no lights flashing no horn beep. That's what leads me to believe that the remote in conjunction with the alarm is not allowing the car to start.

 

Except no damage to fuse box

 

The reason I posted the alarm question in a different area is to get a fresh set of eyes plus the fact that it could be a whole different issue rather than it happen when I change the shift solenoids, because like I said I had the battery disconnected for over a day. We lost keys had new reprogrammed keys new reprogrammed fobs so it could be coincidental that the car is not starting for those issues and if it stays in this area people who don't normally look in areas like this will not see the alarm question.
If the alarm is activated and you can't deactivate it will the car start with the correct key?

 

After disconnecting the battery for an hour I was able to get my blue driver scanner to read codes. The following codes are what was this discovered.
B2530
U2100
U2105
U2106
U2108
U2111
U2113

The first one has to do with the fog lights, the rest are all communication errors. Which leads me to believe there is a common thread there.
So having a bunch of things unplugged harnesses the fuse block etc. What would be the obvious or logical place to look first. And what am I looking for?

 

You're going to have to re-examine everything you did. Most harness multi-connectors are different, so it's pretty hard to hook them up wrong.

 

I'm guessing it's maybe a ground. I took pictures before and while I was taking it a part for that reason

 

I don't know if you unplugged the throttle body. My poor memory is suggesting that the connector is the same as another connector, don't remember which one, I may be wrong.

I know that the bolts inside the underhood fuse block, they seem to get tight, but they may require further tightening

 

The common thread with the U codes is the GMLAN is disconnected. Possibly one of the fuses noted earlier. Ground doubtful. Maybe the TCM or ECM is not plugged in completely, check the pins. If you unplugged any other module check those pins.

The GMLAN is like an old fashioned Christmas tree light string; if 1 module is disconnected every one down wind dies. You don't have U2107, the BCM, so that makes either the ECM or the TCM or the EBCM suspect. You do have every other module not communicating.

You might notice there is a small number of eyes around here, and they get confused when problems get spread around.

 

I’m thinking fuse block under hood is not securely fastened together.You might have to split it and reconnect it. Tighten those bolts!

 

It was the under hood fuse panel, while tightening the bolts I heard cracking and thought I was going too tight, but I guess it was the clips snapping into place. After snugging them up it started right up. No codes test drive perfect 😊
