Hi,

This odd! when I went to use the air last week All I got was warm air in all positions EXPECT for the Two defrost settings... then The Air conditioning will freeze you out of the car!!

Any other setting on the dial will blow warm!!! Seen the old post about relays, actuators and blend door. This one has me stumped as to where to start!!

Just to be sure. 1. Are you pushing the AC button, (center button, left knob) ?
2. Does the AC indicator light turn on when you push the button ?

I'm with firemangeorge what's the a/c light doing?

Remember the a/c compressor is running when the defrosters are on with no a/c light.

And if you do have the A/C activated via the button, and still no cold air from the vents, it's time to suspect a jammed blend door in the dash, or a bad airflow mode switch.

Yep the light is on... seeing that you only get the air on the defrost settings on the dial I will try the blend door.. If that isn't it "I WILL BE BACK"... LOL

If the light is on, first thing is to confirm the compressor is engaged. If it is, then next would be to check for a blend door problem.

Hmm. 2 posts ago you said the light was on. Now you say it flashes 4 times and goes off.
Well. Certain pending CEL's or trouble codes can make the compressor inoperative in AC mode.
I would suggest to check for any stored codes. If there are any, you can post them up here to aid us in finding an answer to your problem.

A second thought. Earlier you stated the air was cold in the defrost mode. Is that still the same ?
