Oil change
I know that it was probably already asked. But I just changed the oil in my 2007 Chevy HHR 2.2l and refilled the system but it barely reads on the dipstick. What gives?

Let it settle after you turn off the engine, is the car on level surface? It’s most likely just from the oil not back down in the sump.
these take 5 quarts with a new filter

Any thing between the marks is good. Fluid specs are in your Owner Manual..

Did the drain plug go back in nice and smooth? 18 lbs ft.

New filter & change, will take a few to drain down for accurate read.

Book says 5 qts, mine is overfull on that, I only add 4.7 qts & is perfect..
