Oil leak

SISU ( 2006, 2.4, auto, 217k ) started leaking oil from the drivers side (tranny pan covered).
Oil cooler not leaking, Oil filter not leaking, oil switch not leaking, front seal not leaking.
I've narrowed down the culprit to the oil pan or the rear main seal.
Any suggestions?

Don't know what SISU is, but there are a few reports of leaking at the joint between the engine and the section between the engine and the oil pan. It's like a spacer of sorts, maybe 2" tall or so?

The crankshaft girdle sometimes leaks as Donbrew states see oil, look up above that. Perhaps a photo or 2 would help
