Outside Temp is "stuck" at 77
I'm not sure how customer service can help. Mine gets stuck at 58 every now and then. It did it for an entire week once when it was still under warranty. When I picked it up they gave me a copy of the page in the manual that tells how the outside temp gauge works.
One point to note from my experience in building temperature sensing circuits for homebrewing beer is that 77 degrees is right around the "no sensor attached" reading. The electronic baseline, so to speak. In other words, I would check the connectors to the sensor for moisture and loose connections or bad sensor which is probably just a diode or a shorted out transistor (very cheap, in theory HAHA). But also weird algorithm.
