Pretty much normal when the ambient is above 90F, especially with A/C running. If the A/C is NOT turned on the trigger for the fan is around 220F cut off around 189F, if the A/C is turned on then the fan is always on (while engine is running). 241F is the ALARM "Danger Will Robinson!!!!" point. Stop immediately, turn engine off, check and refill overflow bottle, let it cool down for an hour or 2, then open the pressure cap to refill, limp or tow home.
