P2135, related? Oil in ecm connector

ive been fighting the p2135 for awhile now. Car has its days sometimes it's good sometimes it messes up every 2 miles.

cleaning stuff up today.. I found that oil keeps making its way back into the ecm connector.

has anyone had this issue before? The oil in the connector.

P2135 , pertains to the throttle body or throttle pedal position sensor.

https://www.obd-codes.com/p2135

I'm not sure how you're getting oil in the ECM connection maybe a picture would help
Also engine Year and transmission

i took a pic just haven't uploaded it yet..

its a 2007, 2.2, auto car.

tb has been replaced multiple times. I ordered a new harness plug for the tb side and replaced that..

the harness leading into the ecm is about the only thing I can think of that's left

The most common cause of P2135 is a bad pin in the ECM connector. Did the Darth Vader hood go missing?

I defiantly don't have a darth Vader hood on the car...

im sure it is the ecm pin(s). Just trying to make sure first..

it's just everytime I clean the ecm plug and tb plug it does just fine for x amount of time.

the tb was replaced because of the p2135 code, first it was replaced with an autoparts store brand. Didn't fix so maybe the one was defective replaced again.. Then went with an ac Delco TB l, same issues. Got another replacement just to be sure haha

The hood keeps things like water and oil away from the computers.

Make sure all the pins are seated in the connector, check the wire side too.

I finally found the TSB 08-06-04-022B, I can't fit it here, but just put the number into GoOgle. or scan through the TSB thread https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/prob...-thread-23231/. It even tells you which terminals to look at. The "B"on the end just means it is updated to include 2007.
