In a panic!
If you’re saying you don’t know if it’s the original battery, check if it’s an ACDelco, which is probably the original battery, so get a new one.
If a new battery is a hardship, check it out thoroughly, including charging it and then check the voltage every day for a week minimum and see if and where it stabilizes, and also load test it, and if (or more likely when) you discover it’s not holding a bare minimum, (12.7V in my opinion,) or not passing a load test, get a new battery.
