While using the button to open and close the passenger window, the door made a sound like Boing- Bang ect. or like a rock hit the car. Then the passenger window fell down inside he door.

Has anyone have this happen to their 2008 Chevy HHR???

Should I go to the dealer or a Body shop to get the window fixed???

Sounds like something popped apart in the regulator assembly, like the gentleman from Anaheim said....get thee to the dealer forthwith good Sir.

 

my driver side window did that. I had to get a new regulator. That includes a new motor with the unit.
