Pics of rail dust...ugh!!
rail dust is very bad. hot bits of metal fly of the track and land on your car burning themselves into your finish. within 2-3 yrs you will start to get rust specs in your paint. if you have a white car they will easily reveal themselves.
imports that are not chemically cleaned will start rusting prematurely.
l learned this at a detail supply shop. went to my car and there they were, little rust specs imbedded in the paint. good luck finding them on a black car.
advice go buy a jug of KNOCKOUT or similar product to disolve the iron. worked for me on my white s-10

Yea... It was brand new at the time. It looks bad because of the work the first techie did on it. He didn't even do a good job of cleaning his work afterward
. I'm not sure if he/she still works there or not
. I'm just glad the manager took personal care to make sure it was completed to perfection... I can get fairly anal when taken to my limits.
