ChevyMgr this is directed towards you, but anyone else can chime in too.

I recently had my power steering go out on me. Took it in for service at the dealer. I printed up everything I could find on the bad EPS motor, including the TSB from Canada and the TSB for the Cobalts, etc. My service guy found a bulletin for the Power Steering and it was replaced under warranty. The Bulletin listed on my paperwork was 07-02-32-007B, is this a legit Bulletin or is the Service guy just doing it to keep me as a customer?
Hope others can use this to get their power steering fixed if needed.

 

ChevyMgr isn't around much any more, so he's not going to be able to confirm this. I hope they do something about this issue in the US.....

 

I googled the service bulletin # and it came back to a Cobalt forum, but it did list the 06-10 HHR and some other vehicles. Hope it will help others.

 

I too hope this is addressed in the US soon. I feel like we are all on borrowed time with this power steering issue.

 

I thought there was a bulletin for it, but it just wasn't recalled like it was in Canada yet, or like the Cobalts.

 

I'm thinking that Transport Canada has more sway in getting GM to address the issue, than the feds do in the US.
