Angry powerside view mirrors

my power rear view mirrors will not work on my 2011 hhr. can any one tell me were the fuse is located. I do not have a owners manual. thanks in advance. len

But, it is more likely the switch has failed. They are not expensive check eBay.

Good morning LEN, check the 5A fuse in position #21 in your underhood fuse box, because you're up in the Snow Belt, I suspect some ice accumulated in one mirror or the other and the fuse popped because of the jammed mirror head.

That fuse is designed to "lay down its life" before a jammed mirror head can strip out the drive assembly, if the fuse checks out as good. And check it visually, and with a DVOM if you have one, then Don's supposition of a bad door switch is next on the list.

Sometimes just a squirt of contact cleaner will cure the problem with the door mounted switches, but if you have it apart then replace the switch

Mine stopped working a week or so ago, but it's functioning now, probably just froze up.
