Was trying to turn on my rear defroster in case of frost and checking all of the buttons and knobs on the dash of my 2007 HHR. Well defrost lines in glass and instructions in manual that i downloaded the other day. BUT, the only Defrost button I could find is the one for the round knob Heat / AC unit . For the life of me i could not and have not found the separate little sqare button with defrost lines on it no ware on the dash like the manual show's. Is it on the back hatch? I didn't look there. Maybe near the manual latch opener?lol

That’s the defrost button for the rear windscreen, in the centre of the dial, simply push it in and release the button will light up.

 

From your owner manual. Center of the right knob is the button.
