Look, When I posted this issue, I was wondering if it HAD BEEN connected to something that has to do with a 'performance issue', & since That is my engine size, I Thought it would be a good idea to ask around here. Remember, I am Still a 'new' member & just maybe I didn't quite get the knack of knowing all the sections. Nobody else seemed to discover this was the wrong place to discuss it. SORRY if I offended Anyone more experienced than I am. 
P.S. I Am Not Being Sarcastic, So Please Don't get the Wrong Idea. I Just Wanted to Try to Explain my Misdirected Post.

If it's interior and its a creaking plastic sound - have a look at the top cap of your console. Press down on it, use your leg to press into the side of the console. Mine drove me nuts. I took it off and used some weatherstriping along the contact points and immediately quieted it up. The piece im referring to is the last 'finishing' portion of the console.

These cars are plagued by interior rattles and clunks. Unfortunately unless you want to hunt down each one, only to have another one pop up, it looks like we may have to just live with it. Annoys the crap out of me....but yay for cheap pre-chapter 11 GM!
