Hi, I am still unable to remove the cap from the bottom of the rear windshield wiper. I've tried several times but am afraid the cap is going to crack. I followed the instructions on one the one response I received but I just couldn't get it to roll off. Can anyone help me on this please?

Hi Chuck, all I do is grab each side of the piece and pull outward and then back. There are two teeth inside the cap, wish I had a photo. It should come off, you shouldn't break it but if you do, they cost a couple dollars at your local Chevy dealer. Hope this helps.

 

Once you get the cap removed - modify it by removing the extra plastic at the U-slot closed end and you will never have to remove the cap again.

 

or this, will get that pesky cap out of your life.

 

Do not be afraid. It will not crack. I dismantled my cup on the cold, while I using a knife. The cup is not broken.
