Reduced Power

So yesterday my 07 HHR LT went into reduced power after about 5 seconds of driving, thank god my boyfriend was with me and had his scanner. The code was P2135 which has something to do with the throttle position sensor. My boyfriend thinks it may be the throttle body (from the info he found on alldatadiy.com, he is also ASE certified and works for a local Chevy dealership in case anyone wanted to say how much he doesn't know). We cleaned off the plug that plugs into the throttle body and it seemed to be working fine last night, but I was just curious if anyone else has had this happen and what they had to do to fix it, Thanks.

Hahaha... I definitely agree. I'm not responsible for feeding though, mostly housekeeping, which I think he purposefully makes a challenge.

I think thats a man thing we aren't happy lest we leave a trail of clutter every where we go. It's like marking our territory.

Update:
I just tried to drive the HHR and didn't even make it out of the driveway before the reduced power happened again. Boyfriend is bringing home a throttle body after work so I will let ya'll know how it works out.

Seems to be a string of throttle body issues lately hockeygirl, my first thought on reading your post was...here we go again. You'll probably find the throttle body swap cures the problem, but keep us posted.

@Lucky. The assmebly. I had this code 3 times. Finaly time was because of a frayed wire into the throttle body assembly. Fixed that. Working since.
