All the wheels are the same, if you get a new wheel thats all your going to get is the wheel. You install all your controls from your old to the new. Airbag, left side switchs, right side switchs ect. CK eBay motors /parts and acc.

I'm going to give some thought to just letting the Dealer order the wheel and makes the changes so there isn't a sneaker Warranty issue somewhere down the road.

Guess I better ask the question .. if this change effects the Warranty before I do it.

GM and their Dealers can have a Funny way of looking at Warranty issues when they want to.

I can't see a problem if it is Documented as a Customer complaint as the reason for Change.

Maybe I will go to the local dealer I don't like to test the water ??? Ya Think ??

It shouldn't affect the warranty at all, and having the dealer do it would be the easiest and most stress free way of making the modification. If it were me, I would retain the leather wrapped wheel to resell here or on ebay to recoup some of the cost of the wheel swap.

My thoughts exactly.

The leather wheel is a nice touch but it's just the way I like to hold the wheel on longer trips that is the problem.

Should I put it here on Classifieds or E bay ?? Thoughts...

I bet someone would buy it here..... no fees either. Do you have eBay feedback someone could check if worried? You could put all that info in the ad....

These are crazy-expensive (well, to me at least) if you want to replace the whole wheel but here is another alternative.

Maybe the trim rings would work?

Yeh .. I went ahead and gave the Dealer the go ahead to put on the new stock wheel.

Saves the possible head aches for me.

Yes I do have 100% feedback thru E Bay so thats a good point Greybeard.

Should be getting the new one put on sometime next week so the New

Leather wrapped one will be FOR SALE !!!
