It's hard to tell, that thread was 4 pages long and several years old. If questions weren't answered in it then no post in it was needed.

OK I went All thru the wireing ,fuses, and relays, grounds all good
. Thank you again for diagram. It turned out after I went an bought another more expensive bulb that it was the bulb , I guess the one I had bought was defective ,so 2 days and all the questioning of my knowledge and training it had to be something so simple as a brand new defective bulb.

Arrrrgh!

People clean their old bulbs up and put them in the packaging the new one came then get a refund. The DAs in the store don't look at the returns and restock. Causing your problem.

Well I can say the defective bulb pack was still as it came from the factory so I don't think it was someones doing I would almost think it went thru a good shaking in shipping as it looked OK. It did cause a big problem for me and wasted hours doing stuff that was not needed but hey I know everything else is good still. And I am glad I didn't have to pay anyone $100's . So glad I have the training but it's been a few years since I have worked in the Field and I am an old schooler love my precomputer cars

That's why I asked if you had tested the new bulb - always double check. A multi-meter is a must have for the tool box.

What I did find after I put the good bulb in and took the bad bulb and did a test on it I did get a reading for a very short second but just the slightest movement I would get no reading so that explained why at one point the bulb did work until I went to put it back in so filament not making good connection or was not keeping a good contact . Lesson learned again. And yea I am one of the old school where the bulb was this big round glass and you had to replace the whole thing.
