Running board pads coming up

Running board pads coming up

anyone have a good fix or a cool replacement... they are starting to "curl" up in a few spots and doesn't look very nice...

New pads are available from GM, as best as memory serves, they list for around $80 a side. The part numbers are 15877475 for the left side, and 15877476 for the right side. They attach to the boards with little clips molded to their undersides, if yours won't stay down anymore, you might try 3-M "Trim Tape" from your auto parts store.

The trim tape is what the factories use to attach moldings and emblems with, its good and strong.

thanks de... I do have some of thet molding tape around I'll give it a try before pony up for new ones LOL

This was a problem early on. Seems originally they had 2 different styles. One facroty installed, the other dealer installed. The dealer installed had issues. We used to have some members that had the problem.

I doubt that the double-sided tape will work - my dealer epoxied mine down under warranty, and not even that worked.
