my wife just called and stated that she lost power steering and the side airbags deployed on their own... the passenger and driver side didn't deploy, also having issues with the windows not rolling up like they should..

Let the dealer pick it up and handle it. If it happened like you/she stated, with no impact, sounds like GM/Chevrolet is gonna have to fix it.

Little side note. One of our fire chiefs car had the airbags(Chevy) deploy a couple weeks ago. He was turning his car around at a fire when a moderate explosion occured 100 yards away. Set off the side airbags.
