Just bought my HHR in April '14. A few weeks after, my brakes started pulsating terribly!. I took back to dealer, who stated that Brakes were Not covered under Warranty. Come on!! I bought the car used with only 20K miles on it. What a way to start out with a new customer!!! Any comments?

Including the year and model will help.

The regular HHR's are known to have issues with the front brakes pulsating. But, so are many other makes and models of cars.

Read your warranty info. Brakes are considered a "wear" item and generally not covered.
Now if it was a new car and this happened in the 1st few weeks, the dealer and or GM would probably cover it.
Since you bought your's used, well that is one of the chances you take buying a used car.

what is the year and model, 20,000 miles who drove it before, and how did they drive?

are the pads and rotors original , have the back brake shoes been adjusted if it has drum brakes??


Just a few questions I would ask the dealer and yourself.
