I cross off any numbers that I can before sending them back. With perm marker.

My service department told me any negative reviews affect their pay. It was from a guy I know too so I believe it.

I usually have been able to award them good marks... so I let them share my name. I have never had an issue with the dealer, just plenty with the car

I don't care if the dealer gets my name from the survey. I'll fill it out honestly and if I have issues with something they did (or didn't) do, then I will give them less than perfect score for that item. If they don't like it and want to contact me about the less than perfect score, then so be it. I will tell them why. The service surveys I've received haven't had a place for comments. I guess they didn't want to know why...

Believe me, if you check the box that states to not make your name available, the dealer does not see it. It comes to us as "restricted", and nothing about the owner, vehicle or date of repair displays.

I never got a sales survey after buying my HHR ... and really, REALLY wanted one. I have never been as unhappy with a transaction as I was with this one. And, of course, the bribe was there ... If I filled it out entirely as COMPLETELY SATISFIED, they would give me a free tank of gas. I really, REALLY wanted the survey so I could honestly share my thoughts about how I was treated, and the totally insulting remarks the Sales Manager made to me. Anyone know who at GM to contact to share this info with? I'd still like to do that.

Tim,

In the back of the warranty booklet is their address if you want to write or their number is 800-222-1020. There may be an email address also.

Check to see what address GM shows for you. I know of dealers that have input an empoyees address when reporting the sale to GM, if they know a customer is not happy when purchasing, so that they don't get the survey.

Was your HHR purchased new?
