Service traction light.
That is the way some of the older TPMS systems worked. The theory is if one tire has less air in it it's circumference is different thus it turns at a different speed.
I wasn't asking if the pads and shoes were in good working order, I was asking how worn they are and how adjusted they are. When you come to a complete stop and one of the drum brakes is loose all of the other wheels will have stopped turning before it.
A really bad bearing would cause the wheel to move when you stomp the brake while not moving. Causing the wheel speed sensor to sense a motion.

My First post to the forum.......Today I changed my plugs, (side note: they definitely needing replacing) but I forgot to plug in that sensor on the air filter housing before starting and of course I get this service traction warning....plugged it back in ,started it back up..all seems well except I have that service engine light staying on now, Does that mean it needs to be cleared and that's all ? never had it come on (except when starting)
Good to be here, handy forum, used it many times for research already!
Thanks, MIke
