All mounts have been changed out, the lowers were bad for sure (198k) The vibration is still there but reduced to barely noticeable. The window is now 60 to 61mph only. So something is still out of whack. I have new cv axles/wheel bearings/ rotors/ lower A-arm-ball joint, struts, sway bar links. Tie rods ends are tight. I'm not going to worry about it too much. I ran out of ideas. Anything else to check? thanks. Seems a little quieter than before, too.

No, I don't believe thats it . It did the same thing with the summer tires/wheels on it and after rotating them this summer. I have 2 complete sets of tires and wheels. I changed out the tires one at a time and drove it. I thought for sure it was a balance problem. Nothing changed. i looked at the steering shaft and its tight.

it's such a small steering wheel shimmy that I could live with it. Tie rods ends are tight. I highly doubt a brake rotor could be out of balance, could it? I put rear brakes and drums on it this summer ( it didnt need them at all) and didnt notice and wheel bearing problem or looseness. it shimmied before and after the rear brakes anyway.

Just a thought, check your rear lca bushings, are they looking tired, are the bolts tight?

Problem solved finally. The new chinese rotors from NAPA were out of whack/junk. I purchase some AC Delco rotors from Amazon one open box ($15) and one regular ($30) and put them on. Nice and smooth now, zero steering wheel shake. I wouldnt be surprised if the AC Delco's are chinese as well.. I thought all alone it was something that rotated. Never heard of a out of balance rotor before this.

That’s why, I purchase from RockAuto, I’ve learned my lesson with offshore parts.
