It is a PWM circuit, so it is supposed to rapidly operate. Neither of mine made an audible click. Unless that was the clicking I always blamed on the injectors, could be.

The one I got from Autozone had the same casting markings as the one from the factory. Dorman does no make all of their parts, many are sourced from the same place that GM uses.

ya i have the usual tick sound which is the injectors ticking...but this tick was much louder but ticked at the same rate as the injectors.

had the car scanned and my timing is perfect.

I will try an AC Delco EVAP which i have ordered to replace the dorman i originally purchased.

i do have a new maf on the way as well. Hopefully one of these helps. Nobody else can feel the issue that i feel. But im in this car every day so i know its usual and non usual quirks.
time will tell lol

slowly still tacking this. I was able to get a new oem MAF really cheap so ill put that in and see what happens.
Does it need a relearn? - do i need to disconnect the battery for 30 mins or so ... or is it just plug it in and drive?

I'd still check the TB as mentioned before. Mine built up a bit of gunk around the lip of the butterfly and caused an wonky idle issue. Lifted up the TB, placed a rag under it and had the wife push the gas pedal to open the butterfly as I sprayed TB cleaner in. Ran perfect afterwords.

The don't recommend trying to manually open the butterfly. So I left it plugged in and let the electronics open it.

Apologies Skyline for not getting back to you on the part #. My mechanic actually ordered it so I didn't have it on hand. Def should not be ticking.
It most def helped with idle/shaking acceleration. But I still have about a 30% annoyance level and I like to have it at zero. Going to the stealership at some point this summer to see if they can stumble on to something. I already cleaned the maf sensor but not the TB. Only got 74k miles but probably try that last before it goes to the dealer. I'll update this thread if it gets figured out.
