I have a squeeky hatch on my 07 HHR. Took it to the dealer and the best he could do is sell me some lubricant for the door rubber.NO help. I have ajusted the plastic door stops on either side of the hatch several times but the problem persists. Has anyone had a similar issue and if so how did you fix it as it is annoying.

I've had the same issue on my 09. It gets worse when it's cold out. I have to lube the weatherstripping with silicone a couple of times a year!

 

It's the latch that's bad. Getting the dealer to replace it is another story. Trust me the latch is bad. Might not move or wiggle.
