Step on brakes and get an odd noise

Seems like at 80K the HHR is starting to show its age all at once......not the original pads and rotors..in fact only maybe 20K on them..step on them on the highway and get a real load rrrwr, rwwr, rwwr, rwwwr noise that is worse in the rain...looking at the rotors they look like they have marks on them..maybe smudges.....I mean it is loud

ideas?

Goose, Know you recently changed the left front hub, is the brake noise on that same side?
