Stupid question on Fuses

Stupid question on Fuses

What is the difference between ATO fuses and Mini Fuses ? I was going to pick up a pack of extras while at PepBOys.... but then had a blonde moment and couldnt figure out if i needed ATO or Mini,

Nice to know...thanks. I did some searching to see what the difference is between the two, besides possibly the size. It appears that the metal portion that is seated into the fusebox have different configurations. See the page below.

i used the wrong type when the power steering fues went, it did work but i changed it to the ones that goes for hhr just to be save

No, the difference is the size. ATO is larger. That's all.

Don't forget that for most of those mini fuses there are spares located in the under hood fuse box.

I realize that size is one of the differences, which is something I figured was a given. But in the pictures, they look like they have different plug ends. See photos below. Am a the only one that thinks they look different?

I know about the spares...but since i blew ONE already in my aux. power. I figured I better get some spares for the spares..... so to make things simple... i should buy a variety pack of the MINI's there are NO "ato's" on the HHR that i need to worry about? I dont think i've ever blown any of the cartridge fuses so i wont worry about them
