GM part number is 15784193, dealer list is $27.85

GM Parts Giant has it for $19.45

You also might find it on e-bay or at RockAuto.

x2! The key part being "It will be stronger than it ever was..".

Sleeper - reminded me of the quandary about gaskets in Zen And The Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance.

Off topic question, anyone got the part number for the window switch panel on the drivers door? Mine is horrible. The rear passenger switch rarely works to put the window up. Always gotta use the rear switch.

Ok the dealer wants 40$ plus they aren't in stock so I'm just gonna order it. Does that part mentioned above come with the little missing rubber piece? Looks like mine is missing, I can see the darker circle around the top bolt where I think it used to be.

The rubber grommet/spacer is GM part number 19177872, you'd need two if they are both missing, and they don't come with the new bracket according to the parts breakdown.

Cool. I'll order all that tonight. It'll be cheaper for me rather than taking off work to warranty this...don't know why they can't just provide the bracket its not like km asking for a transmission lol

as I said bud. The dealerships don't carry them because them breaking was so rare, and they have also discontinued making those parts.

It's also not rocket science to bend up some thicker metal to fab up a better than new one.
