True dat!!! To go drilling a hole, or installing a thermostat that is modified beyond what was originally designated for the Ecotec engine is just asking for problems, as they will modify the warm-up cycle and possibly start tripping the CEL if the engine does not warm up within the computer monitored parameters.

I find it interesting as 1/8 inch has been specified in another thread that kinda got out of control - why not a a 3/16 or 3/32"?
