Thermostat Bolt Specs?

Hey all,
Long time listener, first time caller.

Would anyone know the specs for the bolts that go into the thermostat housing? You know, just in case someone was trying to replace his and a bolt slipped out of his grasp and into the engine bay and he can't find it...... Not that anything like that has happened.....(And where to find a replacement quickly.)

Thanks.

10 mm bolt head so 6 mm threads the two bolts that connect the thermostat to the housing, they're M6-1.0 x 25mm long.

There’s 2 thermostat bolts. You still have one correct ? Just find a match for that one.
Hardware store. Chevy Dealership. Wrecking yard.
Or look harder for the lost one.

Why does no one ever think of GM Parts departments?

Thanks all. I found a packet of them at the local Auto Zone. Will be picking up later today.
To answer the question "There’s 2 thermostat bolts. You still have one correct ? Just find a match for that one." I couldn't get the lower one loose, so I was giving up on replacing it myself and went to put the top one back in and take it to the mechanic, and that's when I dropped it (short arms plus fat fingers). I looked all over, used an extendable magnet, jacked it up and crawled underneath, rocked it back and forth, etc. No dice.

I managed to get the replacement bolt back in place with some painter's tape warpped around the socket. Local mechanic replaced the thermostat for $60 since i already had the part. Would have been less if I had remembered the leftover Dexcool I had in the shed to top it off. Oh well. It's running well again. Thanks for the help.
