I just had this happen all of a sudden Friday way out in the country. Had it towed to a Chev Dealer couple towns away. It was only 1 1/2 hours before they closed for the weekend. But they got it finished before close. And I was on my way. Still under 3/36 GM warranty. So they didn't give any paperwork, I have no idea what they really did or what was wrong, he would only say the position sensor froze. Said I was good to go everything was recorded in the GM computers. I was just happy they jumped on it for me since my HHR was loaded with stuff for the weekend. My plans would have been scrapped otherwise.

Now I read this - I wonder if they replaced a part or reprogramed / rebooted something?
Not that it matters too much- I guess
