I'm having a ticking coming from my motors when i'm at idel the car ticks give it gas the ticking gets faster. I checked the oil everthing looks great i changed the oil like 2 months ago with moblie1 but this started like 4 days ago any clue???( when driving the car sounds like when we was younger and putting baseball cards in a spokes on are bikes.)

Our 2.4 ticks, my wife brought it to my attention. I had already noticed it also but I really feel like it is just the fuel injectors. My Typhoon does the same thing.

 

OHC engines are pretty ticky" by nature.

 

Mine does the same.....makes you wonder why some do make the noise and others don't...I hate it

Yes, it does make you wonder, …………….. if the "tickers" all use the same kind of oil? Hum?

 

Mine ticked whether using Petro-Canada dino, Castrol Syntec, or Pennzoil Platinum.
