Timing chain problem
Timing chain problem
I replaced the timing chain and I moved the rear camshaft while tightening the sprocket. I'm off by half a link. Didn't think it would make much of a difference, but guess it does. The car went into limp mode. How do I get everything lined up properly again?
I understand that I have to start m but how do I get the camshaft that moved adjusted and in the right spot?
If I turn the sprocket to get the cylinder top dead center, won't the camshaft that moved still be out of place?

Careful turning the crankshaft with the chain in place , you might bend a valve. Read thru this link.
