Trim Issue (interior)
Has anyone noticed the chrome trim ring located around the gear shift selector becomes loose about every other day or so and needs to be pressed back into place?

Is this normal or should it be looked at?

Have it looked at. I've had my HHR since May and its never come loose.

No problems here and I've had my HHR since January 06. I would think it would be a quick fix by the dealer.

I figured it wasn't normal, but you know how it is. Also... as with most of us, I HATE taking the car to the dealer unless I have to.

Although mine doesn't loosen auto-magically... I'd be curious to know if any of the 'tabs' (used to keep the ring secure and affixed) are broken?
