Yes, it hasn't EVER been adjusted, and Yes, its a 2008 after the VIN number.
Our HHR is sold new in Europe,it has all wheel ABS- so it does not matter when choosing the shoes?
So the ABS sensor is behind backing plate, where is some kind of wire ending to a plug...

Will do the adjustments. I have assumed earlier that heavy braking in reverse would have done the trick, but seems its not adequate.

The ABS sensor is in the axle hub. The 2008 shoes are the same for ABS or non-ABS

The ABS sensor is integral to the hub/bearing. I think all 2008 had ABS, 2006-2007 optional. Shoes the same.

I think we all thought that when we first got our HHRs', but we learned & always try & pass on the tips & etc.
